What you share

Signup takes place in the Offbeat app. It asks for your name, email and a password. After verifying your email, choose your country to open a workspace. Freelancers can use their own name; a studio or agency name is optional. Invoice details can be added now or later, and a business registration number is optional in Offbeat.

Free access

Offbeat is free for everyone right now. No payment card or subscription is required. Your workspace has no trial deadline. Fees for collecting payments from your clients depend on your payment provider and connection.

Your data, your call

Owners and admins can download everything their agency keeps in Offbeat as one ZIP of spreadsheets, at any time. Anyone can download the personal details Offbeat holds about them, or delete their own account from Settings → Your account. Deleting an account removes your name, email and sign-in methods; work you logged stays with each agency, credited to “Former team member”.

Deleting an agency

An owner can delete their agency from its settings. Access stops straight away for the whole team and the agency’s clients. Fourteen days later every record and uploaded file is deleted for good. Until then, the owner can download an export or cancel the deletion.

Two-step sign-in

You can ask for a code from an authenticator app every time you sign in, including when you sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook. Recovery codes let you in if you lose your phone; we store them only in a form that can’t be read back.

Integrations you connect

If your agency connects Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Discord or its own webhook, Offbeat sends the updates you choose to that address: client names, invoice numbers, amounts and links, but never client feedback. Nothing is sent anywhere until an owner or admin connects it, and they can pause or remove it at any time.

The sample workspace

The sample workspace is filled with made-up clients so you can explore safely. It never sends email, takes payments or invites anyone, and you can reset or delete it whenever you like.

Cookies and email

The app uses session cookies to keep you signed in. Account verification and password reset use email links. Workspace notifications follow your notification preferences. This marketing website has no advertising trackers or external analytics installed.
