Who is Offbeat for?
Independent marketing and creative agencies across Southeast Asia managing retainers or fixed-fee projects. It’s especially useful when the same people look after the work, the client and the money.
Does it work for one-off projects?
Yes. Projects share the same fee, cost, media and invoice workflow as retainers, with an end date. Monthly recurring billing is for retainers.
How does the free trial work?
Create your account, verify your email and set up your agency. Your 30-day trial starts when your workspace is created. No card is required. Subscribe when you’re ready; otherwise your workspace becomes read-only at the end of the trial, with your data retained.
Will I be charged automatically after the trial?
Only if you choose a subscription and confirm payment details. Your monthly price and first charge date appear in checkout. You can manage cancellation from your Offbeat subscription page. Payment processing for your clients is separate.
What does “contribution” mean?
The creative fee minus recorded delivery costs. It helps you understand an engagement’s remaining contribution. It is not net profit. Media pass-through stays separate.
Can my agency join from anywhere in Southeast Asia?
Yes. Onboarding is open to Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam. Your workspace uses a local reporting currency, with separate views for work billed in other supported currencies. The interface is currently in English.
Are payments and tax features the same in every country?
You can prepare invoices, schedule retainer billing and review bank-transfer proof throughout the region. Connect an eligible Stripe or Xendit account for online checkout; methods and currencies vary by country and account. Saved-card automatic collection uses Stripe. GST and SST fields are available for Singapore and Malaysia; elsewhere, enter manually reviewed tax rates and notes. Offbeat does not file local tax returns or government e-invoices.
Does Offbeat replace my accountant?
No. Offbeat supports your agency’s commercial workflow. It is not a full accounting system, automatic tax adviser or government e-invoicing service.
